The above panorama is looking at Machapuchare in the opposite direction to the one at the top.

The overview button take you to another rendered panorama from high above the Himalaya showing most of the route.

It is an interactive panorama so you can pan around and zoom in and out. The right most button in the tool bar gives full screen. The "M" button in the newer tours toggles a Google Map with clickable markers. The radar icon on the top right shows orientation and field of view. Most are multi resolution so when you zoom in there may be a slight delay as the files load.

The early ones were rendered in Vue 2015 and the later ones with Terragen 4.4 with detail added with World machine 3 and in some cases Gaea. As usual the DEM's are from Jonathan de Ferranti site ViewfinderPanorama  with some merging with the ALOS data . The Panorama itself was made with Garden Gnome Software's Pano2VR
